1.50 whales X 4 tons/day = 200 tons of krill/day

2. 200 tons X 2,000 pounds = 400,000 pounds of krill/day

3. 31 days (july) + 31 days (August) + 30 days (September) + 15 days (October) = 107 days in a season. 107 days X 200 tons of krill/day = 21,400 tons of krill

4. 21,400 tons of krill X 2,000 pounds/ton = 42,800,000 pounds of krill

5. 42,800,000 pounds of krill X 100 krill/lb = 4,280,000,000 krill!
